Audio Channel

Some video file(mpg,dat,rmvb) have 2 audio channel(stereo left/right ) i want
to del the one audio channel of the video.Any software can do that?can i do
it when the file is mono channels encoded as left (channel 1) and right
(channel 2) too PLS RECOMMEND
