Audio CDs not playing

When I try and play audio CDs using Media Player, I get
the error message "MCI device invalid ID. Please use ID
returned by device". Data CDs play fine and .wma files no
problem. I am using a Hercules Fortissimo 2 sound card
and Cyberdrive R/RW CD drive.

Anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
