A few days ago you tried to help me with a wireless network problem.
Finally re-installed XP MCE on laptop and it fixed that problem.
One of the steps you suggested was creating on desktop PC a "test on
'Laptop' (Q)".
How do I get rid of this again, it won't let me delete it.
PS: I believe initial problems were caused by a faulty wireless USB adapter
on desktop PC and my efforts to "fix" it.
Now have desktop PC hard wired to router until I get another adapter.

I do not understand what it is you're trying to delete -
please rephrase. And by the way, please do not start
a new thread on an existing post. It confuses everyone
and you risk not getting an answer at all.

I thought that because original post was so far back it wouldn't be seen if
I posted as a reply, sorry about that.
In Windows Explorer I now have showing a disconnected network drive named
"test on 'Laptop' (Q)".
This was created to try to diagnose why I couldn't connect to laptop.
This isn't needed now and it's doing no harm but I can't get rid of it.

- Click Start / Run / cmd {OK}
- Type these commands:
net use /persistent:no {Enter}
net use * /del {Enter}

This is actually a newsgoup, not a forum, and those that use a newsreader
see new messages just fine. It doesn't matter when the original thread was
started. You are using OE, you should be aware of this.
