Why? Now it's always stuck there at the bottom of our "New
Headers/Messages" list. I guess we'll have to wait until December 31st
for it to disappear. Or until you cancel the message... which ever
comes first.

It's marked as read but it's always there at the bottom because headers
are sorted by date, from oldest to newest. So your post will be down
there until December 31st passes then it will start to move up the list
like all the other posts. I always read the ng with headers sorted by
date order, I'm sure others do the same.

Why would it be in New Headers if you have marked it read?

Ok, reply to it and I'll see if I can pull the thread back in.

I think you guys are playing tricks on me. I see Ray posted on the same
subject dated a year ago. I'm easy to confuse just before supper hour,
my mind is on food... What's this "bump" thing supposed to do? Is it
because you sort by threads and want to collapse the thread and get rid
of it or what?

I hope I have a great big T-bone steak for supper... it'll be better
than that crow I had last night...
