attchments in body

when i create a new mail message and want to attach an attch file, the attch
file goes into the body of the email instead of the attchemtn box any
solution would be helpful.

Change your default format from Rich Text to either plain text or HTML.

This must be fast approaching the HUGE volume of posts in the vein of
"OE refused access to the attachment" - THAT one ran into hundreds of
thousands of posts....I can't believe that Google are so successful -
no-one /here/ seems to use it....
