hi,

I have a user that messed around with his outlook and now when he sends out
an email with a word or excel attachment it shows the contents of the
attachment inside the message body instead of as an attached file that can
be "saved as" by the recipient.

anyone with a problem like this? how do I fix this?

thanks

How is he attaching the document? Can you reproduce this? You can definitely
embed Word/Excel attachments in the body of a message, but that's generally
done from within, say, Word or Excel, or by copy/paste.

If you can't resolve this, how about recreating his profile...

HI MAC,
sounds like you use the RTF Format,
please use Text or Html Format!

You don't need to recreate his profile. You need to change the format of the
email messages. Go to Tools, Options, click the Mail Format Tab and change
the settings to HTML
