Hey there, I have an HTML signature in my outlook 2000, with WinXP Pro. When
I attach a file to a recipient and send it. Things are ok! But when the
recipient tries to print the e-mail, sender too for that matter, It just
shows the main body of the e-mail message, and doesn't print the fact that is
has attachments. (not looking for the attachments to print too... I just want
the e-mail to "show" it has attachments, and it doesn't. If anyone has any
ideas, please let me know. Thanks a lot! Sincerely, Geoffrey.

Plain text works for me in Outlook 2000. Print the email, the attached email
icon shows up.

Change the message's format to Plain Text and the attachment information
will print.

I have done that... that's no problem! The problem is, if I want to keep my
HTML signature, how would I go about seeing the attached information.
Actually, I have to keep my HTML signature, and if I switch it to Plain, my
signature formatting is off... Thanks again for the reply. Any other
suggestions? -Geoffrey.

The choice you have to make is whether printing the attachment name is more
important that seeing your mail signature formatted or vice versa. The fact
is that with Outlook 2000, you MUST change the format of the message to
Plain Text in order to have the attachment name print. The choice it yours.

Thanks for the reply. That is what I'm pretty much gathering at this point.
When I try to print the e-mail it shows an Options Tab, within this options
tab, it allows me to "Print Frames" As Laid out on the screen, onlt the
selected frame, all frames individually... etc... these are all greyed out.
Is there a way to change that? Or is that not what I'm looking for? Or once
again, does it have to be in Plain text for that option? Thanks again for
your support Brian.

One or two things to try. First, with the message open, click Edit>Edit
Message and check the print options. Second, click Forward and see what you
can print.
