Hi,

First of all, in case you want to send me a reply, please
send it to my mailadress: (e-mail address removed) with the
same subject as above.

Question: is it possible to detach an attachment in a
mail and at the same have a path specified where you
saved this attachment.

Reason: many of our users sent mails with large
attachments. A solution for this is to set up an
identical tree structure as in your mailbox and only save
the mail contents in your inbox, but the attachment
locally (or on the server) in Windows Explorer.

I know from my two years Lotus Notes support experience
that when you detach an attachment and save it in
whatever subfolder, LN puts the complete path in that
specific mail. So it is easier for you to retrieve the
attachment afterward.

Thx for looking into this,

Greetz,

Joinken
