I don't want a receipient to see the document properties
of an attachment from Word, Excel, etc.

Is there a way to prevent this?

Thank you

I would think that is a function of Word or Excel rather than Outlook......

No. A file is a file. If you wish to avoid this then:
1. send out the file is "published" format, e.g. Adobe PDF, or some other.
2. remove the information in Propoperties before sending out, this is
known to be unreliable.

Don't know about Excel, but with Word you have the risk of information
that you thought you deleted is in fact still in the file. Sending out
source Word DOC files is not the best thing to do when one is concerned
about information security.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

Once they receive it, it's their file. They can do whatever they want with
it.
