I am using Outlook Live 2003. (MOOL)
Is there a way to attach a note to a received message?
For example. I mail a package by express mail with tracking information
and I e-mail the recipient the tracking number. After the package has been
delivered I verify the confirmation online from the shipping company web
site. I would like now to copy and paste this information to the sent e-mail
without editing the original e-mail.

You can create a note and then attach it to the message by first choosing
Edit-> Edit Message and then Insert-> Item....

Tips of the month:
-Properly back-up and restore your Outlook data
-Create an Office 2003 CD slipstreamed with Service Pack 1

Thank you.

I think there is a difference between Outlook and Outlook Live or there is
something wrong with my installation.

I can Edit the message ( I can type and change anything) but Insert / Item
is not available (in background) while Horizontal Line, Picture... and
Hyperlink are available.

I also had a problem with Import and Export that tells me that is not
available and I should rerun setup. I did that and also repair and it still
is not fixed.

True, there is a difference. You should be able to work around this by first
moving the message to a Personal Folder, edit it and then move it back. Does
the import function work after you've set a pst-file as your default
delivery location? I can succesfully import to an MSN account here. Also,
where are you trying to import from?
