Attaching files creating outlook folders in file

When I attach a file to an e-mail, it automatically creates two outlook
folders in that folder. The outlook folders that are created-calendar and
contacts. It's very annoying and I delete them each time. Is there a way to
turn this off?

Got a Dell? Not an Outlook problem at all. The problem lies with
MediaDirect, I believe. Here are the other times this questions has been
addressed:
