Attaching a file - down arrow for list of drives - locks up

Hi There -

I searched by topic but didn't find anyone that seems to have this problem.

When I'm trying to attach a file (right now, in Outlook...), the default
view for windows explorer says "My Documents". As long as I want something
from that folder, I'm fine. If I press the down arrow to search another
drive, my system locks up for about a minute and then the folder name says
"Ohana's Documents" and "My Documents" is gone. (Ohana being the user name
for this account.)

I made another user profile to manage 2 iPods in the same house about 6
months ago - but this problem literally just showed up today.

I looked for ways to modify the registry so I can specify the folder name.
If it needs to be "Ohana's Documents" - then I'd rather have it say that
rather than locking up.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks -
Lesley

Step 1 in troubleshooting any computer problem.> re-boot the system. Problems
like you describe have an almost magical way of disappearing.

Hi George -

Thanks for the advice, but I've rebooted about 8 times now. Initially,
windows explorer was getting stuck and not responding. Then, it changed the
name of "My Documents" to "Ohana's Documents" if I waited long enough. And
even if you use the drop down menu then, and select "My Documents" it still
shows as "Ohana's Documents" in the selection window.

Any other ideas?

Thanks.
Lesley
