Hello everybody,

I currently use outlook 2003. Now i setup a new task and let it occour
every day to remind me to modify a fixed files, such as
c:\work\abc.xls. The task remind me at 8:PM every day. and I have to
switch to Windows Explorer to open c:--c:\work--c:\abc.xls.
I wonder if there is a way to bind the excel file with the reminder? I
try to attach the excel file in the reminder, but I find it is just a
temporary file under \olk1, not " Real file".
Do somebody know how to do that?

Very thanks.

You can put a shortcut to a file in your task. Type out the full file path,
then in front of it put file:// . If there are spaces in the path you'll
need to surround the whole thing with angle brackets, like these: < >

Wouldn't the proper way to express spaces be to use %20, just like any other
URL?

I dunno...either way works and that was the way I was taught to do it.
