I have Outlook XP/2002.

I created a Word document form and mail it as attachment to myself for test.
After receipt I edit the form and save it (default back to the attached
form).
To return the form I click [Reply] but the form is no longer attached !!!
B.t.w. when clicking [Forward] the form is still attached ???

[Reply] works fine at my friend's computer, dugh!

Is there an Option setting wrong?
Can't figure it out, please help.

Replies do not automantically include attachments, since Outlook takes the
approach that the sender already has it. Drag it from the original to the
reply.

Are you certain they're using Outlook?

So this is not a matter of a setting but intentionally designed this way?

Yes, my friend confirmed, he used Outlook, filled in the attached form
and clicked [Reply] so I received the filled in form. He did not drag
anything to the reply message. So it should be possible, but how?

I'm not sure I believe your friend's contention. There is no setting in
Outlook that will cause it to include attachments in replies.
