Attach a file to a email merge

I am using email merge to send an email to all of my outlook contacts, but I
want to attach a pdf file to the email, how can I do this?

No version of Office does mail merge with both a cover letter and an
attachment. You'd need a third-part product for that; see
http://www.slipstick.com/addins/mail.htm#massmail

I try to leave some level of self-support so people learn to use the
resources. Finding mailmerge tools on Slipstick website is a case of
clicking the add-ins button and then bulk email.
