ATL.DLL error

When I re-start my computer and log in, I get an error;
This application has failed to start because ATL.DLL was
not found. Re-installing the application may fix this
problem. Where do I get ATL.DLL or how do I find the
application? 2nd try
 
Do a Google search for ATL.DLL and hopefully it will tell you what program
it is associated with.

Are you using or have you installed and used a C++ compiler?

ATL.DLL = active template library for C++ classes to simplify COM
objects.
