I am trying to capture video and audio from a VHS tape
through Studio 9 software, with Windows XP Home Edition.
I can capture the video just fine but cannot capture the
audio. In the capture source tab of Studio 9, I have ATI
Rage Theater Video Capture selected in the video section.
In the audio section, I do not have an option to select
ATI Rage Theater Audio Capture. My only options are the SB
Live! Wave Devices. I have tried each one of them, but
none of them works. I have downloaded the drivers for the
32MB DDR ATI Radeon All In One Wonder. I have all the
Microsoft updates downloaded and installed. Do you know
why I cannot capture audio?

.
Do you have the sound jack from the VCR in right hole on
sound card (Blue) or do you have the Audio connection
between Sound Card and Capture Card. If you have sound
playing back other things that you know work then it is
ok. If you have internal Audio connect are on the right
connection on the Config. Settings on Capture Card I.E.
AUX. CD. etc. Simple things sometimes over looked
