Hi,
I have XP-Pro.
When I try to put the system in "Stand-by" mode I get the message, "The
device driver for ATI 3D Rage Pro AGP 2X device is preventing the machine
from entering standby."

Windows only has information that this is because XP does not provide power
management options for this driver.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Update the driver ?
Visit the ATI website ?
Look in the ATI FAQ section ?
Is this a critical problem ?

no ATI driver to correct the problem, live with it or upgrade video board to a newer one,

had same problem with same board for several years.
under power settings, you can shut down monitor and hard drives in the mean time.
