I have asus AGP-V3800/TVR, no problem with win98 with its
own driver, but I have winXP now and it refused the
driver and it installed something else NVIDIA RIVA TNT2,
it works fine with PC but when I have a connection with
TV with a S video cable, I have to have a interface to
resize TV screen and there is no interface, so my screen
is bad. it is wrapping. can anyone help me? I download
driver V3800 for XP but device manager refuse it.

When you try to install the new driver for XP, does it actually refuse to
install it, or just warn you that the driver is unsigned (meaning not
certified to be XP compatible)?

thanks for your reply. after I read your message, I again
search for a XP competible driver for the card. because
my driver does not support XP, it did not give a message
like yours. I downloaded asus v3800 driver for XP from
driveguide site, (www.driveGuide.com) I installed it and
at last, there is a Asus control panel on my system tray
and advenced setting in display window. I plugged PC to
TV, I tried to resize TV monitor, I set S video option,
and chosed NTSCM for device settings for TV, (my TV is
PAL, SECAM, and NTSC 3.58, 4,43 for video) when I applied
it, my TV monitor is perfect. but as I tried to run
dvdmicro, it crushed. :)) unplugged video cable, set my
own monitor, then return windows again, a message come
bak "serious error, assus driver is responsible. all I
want to watch my video from TV screen. is it so
difficult? thanks a lot.

If the driver isn't XP compatible, you're probably lucky it works at all.
You can see if there is a Windows 2000 driver available, and try it, but
there are no guarantees.

It sounds like a nVidia TNT2 -based card (AGP-V3800/TVR is Asus markings for
it). Get the latest driver from nVidia homesite:
