ASUS P5W DH Deluxe

I'm in the process of building a new system based on the Intel Conroe
chip and like what I have read about the subject motherboard. I cannot
find out if the motherboard supplies its own graphics or does it
require a video card. Anybody help I'd appreciate it.

It doesn't look like this board has onboard video. This makes sense
since it is being marketed to gamers (designed for CrossFire), who
wouldn't consider onboard video.

Make sure you read the information about updating the BIOS to support
Conroe.

Most 975 Chipsets do not provide on-board video. The newer 965
Chipsets do have embedded video that is AeroGlass compliant for
Windows Vista. I've built systems with both the Asus P5W and Intel
965 and each have distinct advantages. The Asus board is very nice,
lots of features. However for my own C2D system I went with the
Intel DG965RY. Even with embedded Video it's scores are very high
(comparable) to an Asus P5W with PCIe nVidia 7600.
