association folders

I have an attachment that needs to have an associated folderto perform in
opening this attachment,it is found in the control panel,how do I go about
creating this, need help from you guys. regards aga
 
Pls mention the file-type which you're trying to open? Meanwhile, see: http://www.dougknox.com/xp/file_assoc.htm for file association fixes for various file-types.

Hi Ramesh, I can only tell you that the attachment says; Process
Maps,pps (84.1KB) does this help you? not sure as to how to find the
filetypes?? regards Aga

If the attachment is from a trusted source, save to a folder. Run a virus scan of the file (just in case) and then open the .PPS with MS PowerPoint (see David's link). If you don't have PowerPoint installed, download PowerPoint Viewer available at:
