Assigned Tasks Imported from Access

I use the latest version of Outlook on an XP Professional network. I have
an Access database with my work group's plans for the next 3 years. It has
well over 1000 records. Each record is a work task. I would like to import
the records into my Outlook task list and have Outlook email the assigned
tasks to those people that the database says are responsible to complete the
task. The database has the email address of each assigned person. I know
how to import the 1000 or so tasks into my Outlook task list but I can't
figure out how to get Outlook to automatically email the assigned tasks.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
