Assign yes/no field

Hi,
i need a proper code to automatically assign yes/no field when a certain
field is insert. i want when the user key in a certain record, the yes/no
field will automatically filled with yes or no in the table.tq

If you enter new records via form - then you can you form's beforeupdate
event to set yes/no field based on certain criteria:

if me.newrecord then
if <some criteria> then
me.YesNoField=true
end if
end if
