Using PP2002XP
We have created a looping weekly event calendar that we output to a
private television channel running it as a slide show with no
interaction. Server is offsite and is accessed by internet using remote
desktop software.
Viewers complain that the loop is too long. Weekly calendar is 12
slides, 30 seconds each, then 12 to 20 slides of coming event details
each 30 seconds. Then the loop starts again. Runs ok with sounds and
clips. If you miss today's calendar slide you have to wait 15 to 20
minutes for it to come around again.
I would like to do: calendar slides, group of event slides, calendar
slides (again), rest of event slides and start the loop again. We edit
the calendar section (several slides each time) daily for updates and do
not want to have to edit more than one file. I have tried a presentation
with linked objects but they require mouse clicks to make it work and
ours must run unattended.
Suggestions?
Thanks, You have been a great help in the past getting us up and
running.
