.art picture downloading

Don't know who you are but I thank you for fielding this
question for me. I frequently download internet photos
with a .art suffix (Hentai) (Japanese Art). Works fine
on my HP W/Windows 98 but cannot open downloaded images
on my eMachines W/XP. Any hints??
