Are there fields in forms that allows a user to use formatting

I have to use a Form Template to create a Busines Case for this company that
I am working for and as one can imagine - it's like asking a person to dig a
BIG ditch with a table fork instead of a back-hoe. The issue is they have
Text Box fields for entering your Business Case content and I can't use any
of the edit and format functions within the Text Box - in fact all you can do
is write free form text it seems. Is there a different field that can be used
that allows using all the formatting and edit, spellcheck functionality,
etc...

Text that should be formatted can be placed in an unprotected section of the
form.

Alternatively, if you are using Word 2007 (and don't need backward
compatibility), you can make use of content controls, which allow for more
formatting.
