Hi
I can't find scandisk.exe on XP, so are there any other ways to check
harddisk? there is squeaking sound from one of my 4 hard drives but I don't
know which one is collapsing.
Thanks

Xp does not have scandisk, but a similar Checkdsk. C:/properties/tools/error
checking/check now/options/select both boxes/okay/okay/reboot

No scan disk in XP. Open My Computer. Right click on a
drive/Properties/Tools tab and you will fine Check Disk.

There is no scandisk. Windows XP, like all versions of Windows NT, uses the
name chkdsk instead.
