If you have subwebs then do you have to have hosting that
support subdomains? or suwebs?

thanks

If you want subdomains, it is good to have a host that support both and is
willing to point the subdomain to the subweb, so that you can easily publish
the subweb

Subdomains no; subwebs, yes.

In general, any host that provides the FrontPage Server
Extensions supports subsebs.

Are subwebs usually part of the hosting? or is that
something extra? and if they have FP 2002 server ext and
you have FP 2000 does that matter?
Thanks

Subwebs are a function of the FP extensions, however each host can choose to
disable this function for their hosting clients as well as the ability of
clients to set unique permissions, etc.
