Any advice or suggestions as to the quality and
effectiveness of these products? Are they safe to use
with Windows XP PRO? Are there better products than
Spybot and Zone Alarm? Suggestions appreciated.
Thanks, Snow Man

Both are Ok. Add Ad-aware to that list.

I use both with Ad-Aware. I assume that you have an anti-virus
program installed and up to date. I use Norton NAV and it has worked
very well for me.

I have used free ZoneAlarm for years, I use it with XP. Ad-aware is a good
spyware remover as is Spybot S&D. I use both because there are certain
things one doesn't catch and the other will.

Regardless on what Spybot you have on my experience did
not got too well. I have WinXP and once you install
SpybotS&D search and destroy, you cannot uninstall the
program. I think its not accurate. But who knows you
might get lucky!
