Are Profiles Portable

I want to take the profile from work and use it at home.
Which files should I be looking for? Can I import them as
the Work profile when I get them home?

You didn't say which version of Windows. For older versions, profiles were
files with type .prf. Windows NT-based systems have profiles stored in the
Registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows
Messaging Subsystem\Profiles
