Are BSoD error messages stored as text files?

Hello,

I have recently being getting BSoDs when WinXP is up and running. It seems
to occur intermittently especially during Internet activity.

The BSoD error message only appears for a few seconds before the machine
reboots itself. So that I can analyze the fault, is this error message
saved somewhere on my hard disk?

Go into Control Panel, System, Advanced, Startup, Settings, System
Failure. Unselect 'AutoRestart'. The error message will stay on the
screen.

Now all you have to do is determine the cause!

Messages are stored in Event Viewer, just go Start-Help & Support and search
for 'Event Viewer'
