I have Outlook 2003 -- one of my archived folders "came out" of Outlook is
currently sitting on my Desktop. How can I put it back in Outlook?

Archive files don't "come out of Outlook" - you can put them physically
wherever you like on your HDD.
Do you mean that it isn't OPEN in Outlook anymore? If so just do
File-Open-Outlook Data File....
