Archive file menu missing 2007

Can anyone tell me why all of my outlook 2007 installs do not have an
Archive file menu option? I have tried to resetting the file menu but
no go. The option is just missing and was never there from the initial
install.

Where exactly are you not seeing an Archive button?

I have seen it removed in organisations where they have an addin to archive
company data. Are you in a company where an IT department may have done
that?

I'm also researching this problem and I have a question for you.
Is your mailbox on an Exchange 2003 server?
My mailbox is on an Exchange 2007 server and I have the Archive option under
the file menu.
I have a test account whose mailbox is on an Exchange 2003 server and the
Archive option is not there and there is no way to add it that I have found.
Outlook 2007 is pretty cool, but if your mailbox hasn't been migrated to an
Exchange 2007 server you lose some little things like the Archive option and
the Out Of Office pop-up.
