Appointment notidication

Outlook 2003 + Exchange 2003

I have a user that when ever they accept/decline a appointment a
notification goes to their former secretary, who no longer exists as a
network user. I've checked 'Rules and Alerts' but no such rule exists.

Going nuts trying to find out where to rid of this notification/alert.
