applying windows updates without administrator privileges

Is it possible for a workstation to do its patches
without having the user logged in as "administrator" or
with administrator privileges. We are thinking of
depoying the Sofware Update Services and are wondering
whether the users will still have to be logged on as
administrators to apply the updates.

Read up on SUS.
It's made so users don't have to be admins.. It's actually better for you if
they are not.
