Hi guys,
I have WinXp sp2 installed, just been looking a application running, and
found this one running: Apache exe TCP local all:3476 and local host:3476.
Could someone explain what it is and is it ok to leave it alone
Thanks guys
Regards
Bob

Thanks Rick, I must have done it when I tried to set up a network. Is it
ok to leave it or do I need to get rid of it, if so how?
Thanks and Regards

Please note that Apache is not delivered with any version of XP. You need to
download/install it separately.

Apache is also "auto" installed by various "other" applications, most of these
provide a "web" style screen (GUI Interface.) I know that CA eTrust Integrate
Threat Management r8 (ITM) automatically installs Apache, for ITM's interface
screens.
