Hi

A friend told me that he has an application running on Windows XP SP1 that
stops running (kicks out of the program) if he get any dialogbox and wait
for some minutes (say 5 min) to answer it.
This doesn't happens with Windows NT 4 SP6 with the same application in the
same network against the same applicationserver.

My only idee was to run the application in NT4-compatibel mode and see if it
happens.

Any other ideers?

Regards Mikael

Depending on the need, if he WANTS XP for most of what he does and NEEDS the
app to run at other times, he could have a dual boot system, NT and XP and
boot NT whenever the app is needed and XP any other time.
