Application can't be installed

My computor uses XP Home Edition
I get a very frustrating message when I try to install a program called ProShow Gold. When I come as far as to installing the "Photodex Presenter Plugin" I am prompted for a message telling me that I have to log off and log on again as an administrator. Unless the program can't be installed.

But I am already logged on as an administrator. I am not sure if it is the application program which contains the problem, or it is an XP problem

Can anybody help me?
