Apparently blank replies in Outlook inbox?

When one or two people I correspond with reply to my messages, I see only my
original message when I open their reply. If I either delete the message or
move it to another folder in my mailbox, their message becomes visible in the
deleted or other folder and remains visible when I move the message back to
my inbox. I have Windows XP and use Outlook, not Outlook Express, for
e-mail. What is going on here???

This can be caused by scanning your incoming mail with an antivuris program.
