hi..well i have Windows XP and i just opened my computer
and now my computer looks like an old version of
Windows..i tried to change the appearance by going to
start>control panel>appearance and themes>change comupters
theme and on the appearance tab, and under "Windows and
buttons" the only thing on the drop-down menu is "Windows
classic style" and no Windows XP.. can anyone help me to
change my settings to Windows XP?

Click on Start, Settings, Task Bar & Start Menu, Start Menu Tab, Start Menu
(instead of Classic Start Menu).

Device manager >> Advanced >> Performance > settings
check for best appearance or let windows choose.
Make sure that the themes service is enabled.
