I am using outlook 2002. I have 3 e-mail accounts: Hotmail, AOL, and one
through my university. Recieveing e-mails works great, but sending is a
problem. I connect to the internet via AOL. I was told that for my
university IMAP account I had to keep my incoming server set as
imap.university.edu, however since I use aol, i had to change my outgoing to
smtp.aol.com if I want to send e-mail via my university account. I did this,
but I cannot get it to work. The server times out, I am never prompted for
username/password, and the e-mail stays in my outbox. I cannot seem to send
e-mail from any of these accounts. Please help!!!!

You cannot use smtp.aol.com with your University IMAP account. Use the SMTP
server they told you to use.
