Hi

since installing AOL broadband i have had so many
problems, after about 30 minutes aol stops responding and
then i cannot shut it down. it stays on saving your
settings then i get a blue screen saying that there must
be a problem with newley installed software of hardware.
I have spoken to AOL a no of times and have tried so many
different things.

I just wondered whether this is a common problem. It also
happened to my husbands laptop, but he had to have his
hard drive recovered.

Please help

My, my..you are in a pickle - but I don't see what it has to do with
Windows. Microsoft/Windows cannot be held responsible for the complete
crapness of AOHELL - in fact, I'd almost go as far as to say this is a
ID-TEN-T error - because you completely failed to do any research first.

This is AOHELL's problem - it has nothing whatsoever to do with Windows.

Are you saying that AOHELL's trojanic software caused your husband's hard
drive to require recovery - and you still went ahead and installed?! <shakes
head>
Please help

This is a *Windows*, not an AOHELL forum - if you need help (and you so
obviously do - anyone who chooses to install AOHELL is definitely in need of
some kind of help) then talk to AOHELL. There is nothing anyone here can do.

AOL broadband was put together in a hurry and is a very buggy program. You
should uninstall it. Windows has nothing to do with it.

Greetings --

Yes, it's very common for AOL software to cause problems.

I'm afraid you'll need to contact AOL's tech support for resolution
of problems with (or caused by) their product; Microsoft has no
control over AOL's product quality (or lack thereof).
