Hello there

Everytime we send out messages from Outlook to AOL
addresses we are getting an Undeliverable response within
a minute. They are not poeple in the same company and I
know that the addresses are valid.

Does anyone know why this is happening and what I can do
to stop it? As you can imagine it is getting a bit
annoying!!!

Thankyou in advance

Judith

What does the text of the non-delivery receipt say? The reason that I ask
is that some ISPs do not accept mail from servers that don't reverse resolve
correctly.

This is the message in full:

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Subject: FW: Summer Promotion Offer
Sent: 07/07/2004 14:23

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

'(e-mail address removed)' on 07/07/2004 14:23
The recipient was unavailable to take delivery of the message
The MTS-ID of the original message is: c=US;a=
;p=Training26;l=SERVER01-040707132322Z-10
MSEXCH:IMS:Training26:TRAINING26:SERVER01 3554 (000B09AA) 554
Connecting IP: 81.130.143.

Training26 is the company I work for

Thanks again!

Looks like the AOL server rejected the message with a 554.

Possible reasons...
1) message is seen as UCE (spam) or

2) AOL didn't like the connecting IP address of Connecting IP: 81.130.143.
(which isn't complete for some strange reason and could mean that this IP
address isn't reverse resolving correctly or the connecting IP address is
blacklisted)
