Seems like they're bundled together and should be called slimeware.
Any sources for QT that don't inclide iTunes too?

Funny thing about QuickTime. I tried to install the latest version
the other day to view a movie I downloaded that was in MPEG4 of
whatever, and it wouldn't install. Might have had something to do
with me not being connected to the Internet (I lock my firewall
when I install anything). I had to go back two version to get a
QuickTime version that would install, and naturally it didn't play
the damn movie anyway.

I've had nothing but grief trying to use QuickTime. I uninstalled
it today and hope I never have a reason to try to install it
again. I really hate QuickTime.

~A better solution is VLC Player, it plays all MPEG-4 videos. I never
used QT
~but I do use Itunes. Actually I think QT is the evil twin. ;)

~Link for VLC is http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

Thanks, I'll give it a try!
