Anyway to test if our PC can do 12mbs USB speeds ??

On Holidays

Just have a webcam and its usb 2.0 Compatible and should do 12mbs. But
the quality at 640by 480 is not that good at 30fps. And was thinking
it was runnign at the lower 1.1 USB speed ??

IS 12mbs good enough for 640by480 at 30fps ??

It would be fine for mpeg-2 (3-10Mb), but not for DV25. A webcam would not do
mpeg, it would be similar to DV25 in compression.
 
I can do any codec i want with my Logitech 4000 Pro Webcam with the
software iam using :)
