In a Word document, I typed in all the names of my DVD collection
(about 100) in list form. Is there anyway I can alphabetize this
list?

Thanks,
Miss BabyJane Judson

Hi BabyJane,
Select the list; Table>Sort. (even if it's not a Table)
Convert to Table; Table>Sort OR
Copy;Run Excel;Sort in Excel;Copy & Paste back to Word.

Select your data, then go to the menu, and chose table,
sort.

It will help you to sort all your data

Thanks so much!!!!! Now can I ask another question?
(assuming you said I could ask another question) Is there a way to
number the DVD's so that I know how many I have? I am using
two-columns.

Thanks,
BabyJane Hudson

PROVIDED the list is NOT a Table, Select the list Text:
1.. On the File menu, click Page Setup, and then click the Layout tab.
2.. If you're adding line numbers to part of a document, click Selected
text in the Apply to box.
Microsoft Word will add page breaks before and after the selected text.

3.. Click Line Numbers.
4.. Select the Add line numbering check box, and then select the options
you want.
