I just installed K9 yesterday and so far it is working
satisfactorily. I have an iPAQ and my email is transferred from
Outlook 2002 through MS Active Sync to the iPAQ's Pocket Outlook
Inbox.

The problem I see is that all mail including spam is being
transferred to the iPAQ.

Have I something else to do so that only the filtered mail arrives at
the iPAQ?

Oops! My error. I had other pop3 accounts in my iPAQ and it was them
which downloaded the spam.

Beemer,
What actually is K9 ? When I did a Google Search for K9 Ipaq, it came up
with hundreds of reference to a Cisco Router that the part number ended in
K9, but it sounds like you are talking about a software package ?
Thanks !

Tedd,

Here you are:

http://www.keir.net/k9.html

I have no affiliation but do say this is an amazing application. Out
of the box (even without white and blacklists being used) it is
working better than many months of my own tweaking of Outlook rules.

Its FREE!!!!

Thanks Beemer,
That application sounds rather nice ! Going to download and give it some
real world tests.
Thanks again for the URL.
