I am using Vista Home Premium. When I used XP, the "refresh" button was on
the toolbar and easily accessible. But not with Vista! Is there any way to
add that feature? If so, please explain how.

Thanks,
MaryL

Yes, you're correct. The problem is IE7. However, it was installed along
with Vista and Vista does not seem to work with IE6 (which I much
preferred). I did try the F5 key, which was one of the suggestions in the
link you provided. That was a disaster. After that, I had a continuous
series of the notorious "Internet Explorer has stopped working" errors.

Sorry...It was in IE6 (which I used with XP) rather than XP itself, but not
in IE7. However, one of the links David Webb posted provided the answer.
There are little up-and-down arrows to the right of the address bar. That
is actually the refresh "button." It didn't work when I pressed F5 because
that put me into a continuous error message problem ("Internet Explorer has
stopped working"). The up-and-down arrows apparently are supposed to be the
same as pressing F5, but they work for me (so far) while F5 does not.

I should have included this in my answer: Pressing the F5 key created the
problem I described. However, the link you provided pointed out that there
are little up-and-down arrows to the right of the address bar. That is the
"refresh" feature. It is supposed to be the same as F5 (the cursor hovering
over it shows F5), but the arrows are working for me and did not create the
problem I described. Incidentally, I have had a constant problem with the
"Internet Explorer is not working" message coming back time and again.

I think you would be better served by posting your questions to the experts in a
specialized newsgroup, such as:

Be sure to state that your OS is Vista since IE7 can also be installed on WinXP.
Your problems may or may not be specific to the Vista version.
