Apparently, this would be dependent upon the version of Quark XPress
files you have.
I looked around on google, on the google groups they say to export from
quark to pdf then use a pdf reader...

If a person only has the files and doesn't have Quark XPress, how can
they export to .pdf? You still need a program to open the Quark files.
If you have that, then you don't need to export to .pdf. Am I missing
something here?
However, I agree... there doesn't seem to be any freeware that will open
the highly proprietary Quark XPress file format.
