Any text merging tool ?

Hello,

when i scan some book, i first get a bunch of
text files (rather rft now). What would be the best
way to pack them all into a single rtf ?

Drop to a DOS window and use the copy command. No installation, you
don't have to download it, it's free with every operating system since
Isis (maybe even before that), and there are no bugs/adware/viruses.

Or you could just set your scanning program to save the entire scan
job as one file. Most modern OCR software has this option.
 
Good idea, you mean with "append" switch or something
like >>. would it work with .rtf, maybe !

What ? don't i write english ? there is no "Huh ?"
i will take your advice and try it later mate, but RTF files
are not TXT files, the second seems me easier to merge than
the first, because of headers and form tags.
For example with a rought copy file.html >> file.html, you would
get a bad html file because of a second <HEAD> tag in the
middle of the merged files, rozumiesz mie ?
